2. Information We Collect

We collect multiple categories of personal information through the Site.

2.1 Information Our Hosting Provider Collects to Host the Site (Not Directly Controlled by Us)

Our web hosting provider automatically collects certain information from every visitor to the Site in order to deliver, secure, and analyze the Site's performance. This happens regardless of how we've configured the Site, and we do not have visibility or control over the specifics of this collection. Based on our web hosting provider's published documentation about the data it collects, this includes:

  • Device and connection information, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and network information.

  • Usage and log data, such as pages visited, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and general navigation behavior, used to populate its built-in site analytics (e.g., visitor counts, traffic sources).

  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies, including:

    • Necessary cookies, which are required for the Site to function and cannot be disabled (e.g., enabling checkout, remembering settings, load balancing/security).

    • Non-essential (analytics/performance) cookies, which our web hosting provider uses to populate site analytics, such as unique visitors and cart abandonment data. These can be restricted or disabled (see Section 6).

  • Approximate geographic location, generally derived from IP address.

This information is collected and processed by our web hosting provider both (a) on our behalf, to operate and secure the Site, and (b) in some cases, for our web hosting provider's own purposes as an independent controller (e.g., improving its platform, fraud prevention, and its own analytics). Our web hosting provider's handling of this information is governed by the its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which we encourage you to review, as we do not control and cannot fully disclose our web hosting provider's independent processing activities as they may not be fully public, may be proprietary, and may change from time to time.

We do not use this information for any other purpose without your direct consent, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the Site. If we add features that collect additional information in the future, we will update this Policy accordingly.

5. International Data Transfers

Because our web hosting provider is a U.S. company, personal information collected through the Site — including by EU/UK Users — is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. For EU/UK Users, this constitutes a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area/United Kingdom. Our web hosting provider represents that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other appropriate safeguards to legitimize such transfers, as documented in its Data Processing Addendum. You can request more information about these safeguards by contacting our web hosting provider.

  • Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings menu. Note that blocking necessary cookies may affect Site functionality.

  • Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Restricting cookies does not fully prevent all data collection by third-party services connected to the Site, if any are added in the future.

7. Data Retention

  • Form data (name, email, and / or message detail) is retained for as long as our legitimate use of this data persists. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter email. Upon unsubscribing, we will remove your information from our active mailing list within a reasonable time, except where retention is required for legal or recordkeeping purposes.

  • Hosting-related data is retained by our web hosting provider in accordance with its own retention policies, as described in its Privacy Policy.
